Delivery Update (Friday 22nd April 2022)
For the most part we are finding things getting back to something approaching normality and we continue to have regular collections from our premises on working days.
The pandemic caused a surge in demand for courier services and whilst abating slightly demand remains high as people’s shopping habits continue to include more and more on-line purchases.
Our couriers are still not guaranteeing their “before 12 noon” or “Saturday” deliveries and thus we are still not offering these services. We will of course offer them again once the couriers confirm they can offer this service.
Despite precautions all of us have had covid at some point, but fortunately none of us suffered badly. We continue to sanitise our hands before we start packing wines and we still try to avoid all being in at the same time. That way we can do our best to ensure we can keep the service going.
Delivery update (Saturday 16th May 2020)
We continue to have regular collections from our premises on working days.
Despite the easing in England our couriers are not guaranteeing their “before 12 noon” or “Saturday” deliveries. Whilst the deliveries are still getting through we have taken these options off of our mainland delivery services. We will of course offer them again once the couriers confirm they can offer this service.

We continue to sanitise our hands before we start packing wines and we still make sure that not everyone is in at the same time. That way we can do our best to ensure we can keep the service going.
Delivery update (Wednesday 17th April 2020)
We continue to have regular daily collections from our premises on working days.
Despite some challenges in the courier industry we are pleased to confirm that he vast majority of our orders are getting through “next day”. But we still advise you to allow a couple of extra days if there is a very special reason for your order to be there on a specific date.
Due to the precautions we have taken and are taking at this time we can report that we are all healthy and well.
Delivery update (Wednesday 8th April 2020)
So far the collections from us have been on time and we are despatching all orders on “Next Day” delivery and the vast majority within 24 hours.
As with a lot of industries now individual delivery depots experience challenges from time to time because couriers are not immune from Covid 19. Hence we have had the odd order which has taken a couple of days longer than we would expect.
However, the vast majority are getting through, but if you have a particular need for a specific date we would advise that you aim to get it there early.
At Auswinesonline we are all still healthy. We are lucky that we can cope with the two metre guidelines and we continue to sanitise our hands before we pack your orders.
CoronaVirus (Tuesday 10th March 2020)
This is a changing situation of which we have little control. We at Australian Wines Online can take what measures we can to help stop the onward transmission of the virus but of course we have little control over our delivery times to your recipients especially to our customers in mainland Europe.
Our wines were, at worst, put into cases at the end of last season long before the corona virus was an issue so all we can do is maintain cleanliness in our packing area.
What we can do
For the little we can do we sanitise our hands before we start packing wines and we now make sure that not everyone is in at the same time. That way we can do our best to ensure we can keep the service going.
Deliveries
We have not yet experienced any problems with the delivery of wines to us but of course do not know what will happen in the future. Right now we have sufficient stock for quite some months.
For onward delivery to our customers we rely on external couriers. We do not know yet what impact the measures against the virus will have on our couriers. At the moment there is no impact on our British deliveries but we cannot be sure of any deliveries to the rest of Europe especially Italy. All we can do is keep you posted.
