Central Victoria

Wine production only started in the late 1960s when Alan Cuthbertson established Delatite. He also established Murrundindi in the 1970s. More have followed in the 1990s. The climate if regarded as cool and is favourable for production of premium quality wines. The main wine styles: Whites – Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Chardonnay; Red – Cabernet/Merlot blends.
