Four Pillars Modern Australian Gin

Four Pillars Gin Bundle

Four Pillars Gin Bundle

Three different bottles of Australian gin produced by the renowned Four Pillars winery. A great gift at any time of the year, but especially at Christmas and birthdays.

Four Pillars Gin is a modern Australian Gin. The team wanted to create gin that represented contemporary Australian, classic, approachable, spiced to perfection and lifted with great citrus. Each flavour is distilled  together in a German made copper pot still called Wilma.

“Making gin anywhere would be exciting. But we don’t make gin anywhere. We make it here. In Australia. The most delicious, diverse and creative place on earth. And that’s why we get to combine intense creativity around gin with a huge passion for hospitality and gin-fuelled fun.

In 2022 we became Australia’s first certified carbon neutral gin distillery, and later in the year our sustainability efforts were recognised on a global scale with the IWSC awarded us the inaugural Green Spirits Initiative trophy.”

As well as winning some of the most prestigious awards out there in their relatively short history, Four Pillars have shown themselves as true innovators within the category with their use of fresh, native Australian ingredients creating some of the most unique and exciting gins out there. They are lucky enough to have access to local native botanicals like lemon myrtle and Tassie pepper. And our signature is the use of whole fresh citrus in every gin.

They produce a range of spirits including these great gins from their distillery in the Yarra Valley, Victoria. Their gins have now won prizes all around the globe and are recognised on a worldwide basis

Four Pillars Modern Australian Gin

Four Pillars Modern Australian Gin

This gin was originally an exclusive collaboration between Four Pillars Gin, QANTAS and the Rockpool Group.

Alongside some great native botanicals, Asian spices like Szechuan peppercorns gave it a lovely warm mouthfeel (a tiny bit like Neil Perry’s famous numbing duck dish from Spice Temple). Combined with local fruits and Australian macadamia nuts this gave us a gin with lots of softness and spice.

And then something not entirely unexpected happened. Everyone wanted in on this ‘secret’ gin they had seen in fancy restaurants and airport lounges.

We think of it as a modern Australian classic, strongly led on the nose and palate by lashings of juniper.

This traditional underpinning is supported by native lemon myrtle, quandong, macadamia nuts, fresh grapefruit peel, red and green Szechuan (because what would modern Australia be without Chinese flavours?) and fresh red apples.

The result is a bright and dry gin, made in a truly Australian way, and now available for everyone to share.

Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin

Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin is crafted to deliver the best of all worlds: a perfect, classic gin and also something that would fascinate and delight even the most hardened gin fanatic. It’s spicy but with great citrus, a truly modern Australian gin.
Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin captures the essence of contemporary Australia’s heritage in Europe and Asia. We’re using whole oranges which is unusual but Australian citrus is highly aromatic and supports the spicier botanicals like cardamom.

Four Pillars Olive Leaf

Four Pillars Olive Leaf

Four Pillars Olive Leaf

Four Pillars textural and savoury Olive Leaf Gin has officially earned its status as a master of its category, and they couldn’t be prouder.

Their first foray into savoury, Mediterranean-inspired gin flavours was the 2015 limited-edition Cousin Vera Gin made with their friends at Santamanía Destileria Urbana in Madrid. Now six years ago, it was from the making of that gin that they knew gin and olives combined beautifully. And that there was a real love for savoury gin.

A few years later we paid a visit to our great mates at Cobram Estate in Victoria’s Boundary Bend during olive harvest, and it was there that we realised olive oil could actually be a brilliant botanical alongside dried olive leaves.

Four Pillars Gin – a real Australian success story, producing gins known all around the world.

“No 1 The magnificent copper pot still, made by CARL in Germany.
No 2 The water, the best in the world
No 3 The botanicals, some native to Australia.
No 4 Love. The commitment to craft”

FROM SMALL CRAFT DISTILLERY TO BEING NAMED WORLD’S LEADING GIN PRODUCER TWO YEARS IN A ROW. THIS IS A CRAZY RIDE FOUR PILLARS ARE ON

It all started back in 2013 with three mates and one extraordinary copper still. They called her Wilma (after Cameron’s beautiful late mother), and she has since been joined by Jude, Eileen, Beth and Coral. Six years later, in 2019, Four Pillars Gin was named the world’s leading gin producer by the IWSC in London. They won again in 2020, making Australia’s favourite gin officially the world’s best.

In 2015 They made their home in Healesville, Yarra Valley in what was once a timber yard. Four Pillars Distillery brings together everything under one roof. They make and experiment with gin on one side, while we serve up drinks and tastings on the other.

They are lucky enough to have access to local native botanicals like lemon myrtle and Tassie pepper. And their signature is the use of whole fresh citrus in every gin.

Officially now carbon neutral

Victoria is a small state in area, but home to possibly the largest number of wineries in Australia, most of them which are small family-run operations. Victoria’s diverse topography, combining numerous mountain ranges, like the Grampians and the Victorian Pyrenees throughout the centre; flat plains in the northeast; and hilly, ocean-cooled reaches in the Melbourne area, make its vineyards amongst the most scenic in Australia. An enormous range of wine styles are available, and virtually every varietal flourishes in some part of the state.
