H&V Eden Valley Chardonnay – this delicate chardonnay offers a lovely balance of fruit with precise winemaking and cool barrel maturation preserving the piercing and pristine flavours within.
The Chardonnay grapes were picked at optimum ripeness to make a stylish but complex white wine with great varietal definition. The colour is delicate green, gold and the bouquet shows hints of freshly cut white peach and toasty nuances derived from barrel fermentation in high quality French oak hogsheads. The palate is tightly structured with a long, dry finish making this a wine that can be enjoyed now or cellared with confidence for another 4-5 years if so desired during which time it will become richer and more golden in colour.

Peter Lehmann’s personal bravery, loyalty and commitment to the Barossa forged the foundations of the winery that bears his name, built in 1979 to protect the livelihood of his mates, the independent Barossa grape growers, and their treasured vineyards. His passion for, and commitment to, the Barossa is infectious and continues with everyone today that is associated with Peter Lehmann Wines, now under the guidance of son Doug Lehmann.
